Fine motor skills are typically small movements made with your upper body. They are essential for many daily activities such as picking up a toothbrush and brushing your teeth, cutting your food with a fork and knife, getting dressed, using a smartphone, or driving.

What Nurses can help you with:

  • Modifying the environment to allow easy access to children/adults with disabilities.
  • Teaching and motivating patients with illness and disability and using occupation that has a positive effect on the individual.
  • The Patients in order to give them support/ assistance in any activity.
